Autumn 2013

It's Autumn everyone or you might call it fall season in the US. I'm really grateful to be able experiencing the changing of four seasons in the U.K and this will be the final year when I will be heading back to Malaysia for good after completing my Master studies.

Looking forward for a more successful and awesome path once I return back to Malaysia!

Never have imagined that my dream of studying overseas would actually comes true, nevertheless my Master Degree actually now nearly comes to an end and that I would celebrate my Eid Mubarak far from home, miles away from my family.

This wish goes to my family and the whole muslim community that will be celebrating Eid Mubarak.

Powerful Recite to soothe yourself

I remember this recitiation which has been sung to me as a lulaby song while I was a small kid. And then I continue to recite it to my other little brothers and sisters. Every time I recite this it will gives me the strentgh when I feel down and tired and it will remind me that Allah is always in my heart to energises me... And now I would like to share to you.

This is the first time I'am celebrating new year outside of Malaysia, hopefully 2013 would be my awesome year and that I can completed my Master study. InsyAllah.

London Eye New Year Countdown 2012

First post after Left Malaysia Tanah Tumpah Darahku

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

And finally after few month I have left this blog into silence, I'am now have the time to get active again in blogging .hopefully, As getting back from my previous post, it has been 3 month by now that I have left my home country to further my studies to Master level in Engineering Management program. And tomorrow will mark the 3rd month since 21 September 2012.

Now my current place is at Uxbridge, where it is the home of Brunel University which are strategically located near Heathrow airport. Which I can take a flight back to Malaysia any time, if I have the money that is..huhu,

After three month I have been staying at UK, the places that I have been is to Nottingham, Surrey and London. And Uxbridge to London it will take 45min by using the London Underground Train (Tube). With the term #1 will end this 21 of December, I'am hoping to explore more on the other parts of the UK and hopefully I can get to play with the snow...Yippy. Until then, I'am still planning with my activity for this holiday break.

Fungus oH fungus

On Friday 3/8/12 I just gain new exprience...that is purchasing a 2nd hand nikkor 18-105mm lens.
Oh my this was like my nightmare of the week...At first during Cash on Delivery (CoD) I didn't notice any fungus, this is due to the low lighting area in the 11@century hotel.

And at that time the seller also, admited that there are no fungud in the lens that he is selling on behalf of his friend...But the after notice the fungus the next day, I quickly contact the seller back and thank god the seller agree to refund RM100 for servicing the lens....But not other problems is I'am not familiar where to service my lens and how much will it cost.....

So my advice is, take your time to inspect any 2nd hand lens that you want to purchase.

This is what fungus look like and what fungus actually do to your lens.

This occurs as a result of the reaction conditions ... Fungs occur as a result of exposure to the glass lenses with moist air environment or water ... this moist condition will accelerate the growth of this fungus ...

Solution to this...EASY, buy a drybox which will cost around RM290~RM600 in the market.
OR if you cannot afford one and want to be creative, D.I.Y your own drybox!!

Alhamdulillah....this is my full IELTS result.

Alhamdulillah...All praises to Allah..IELTS Result.

The long nerves racking wait is finally over..!!
I have just viewed my IELTS exam result...and surprisingly I have passed!!wehuu~


The result might not be so great compared to others...but the main thing is that I just need to passed a minimum level of band 5.5 for each part...which is Great, now I can seek for offer letter from best university in Uk oR France..


Once again Allhamdulillah...This is really a big relief, as my result for previous EPT result was Reading: 6.0, Writing: 5.0 Overall: 6.0

What a come back huh...Alhamdulillah.

The other great news is that, I can now get a refund for my IELTS exam fee which I have paid using my own money in advance...great huh? aWesome...!! 

A friendly reminder to Malaysian 18yrs old Teenager..

In this entry, I would like to give a friendly reminder to Malaysian 18 yrs old teenager and above who have still not yet change/renew their identity card (mycard)..as you will be fined a total of RM40.


This, concern come from my own experience, as I did not change/renew my id card since I was sweet 16!!
What a shock I get huh, well that is what you get when you are not alert with the changes and requirement around you...(actually my original plan was to wait until I turn 30's before renew my id card,hehe..). I have renew my ID card at KDN new complex which are new integrated centre for JPN/KDN/JIM located at Tmn Setia Tropika, Johor. It took 1 hour for me to wait before I can renew my ID card...which I taught could be longer..


Anyhow, I couldn't argue much as it was from my own mistake..Oh one more thing is, as from 2012 there will be a new mycard version and the fee for lost/stolen card application has raised to RM100..!! (that is sure dam cost a lot to ppl tht don't have high income like me...


Here is some of the details of compound fees and it will apply on lo Malaysian citizen only:

Kota Iskandar, Nusajaya

In this entry I will share some of the photos that I have taken during my YES training period. Here is a brief introduction of Kota Iskandar, Nusajaya, Johor:

Kota Iskandar (the Johor State New Administrative Centre) is being developed by Cahaya Jauhar Sdn Bhd (“CJSB”), a 60:40 joint venture between UEM Land Berhad (“UEM Land”) and the Johor State Government, on 320 acres of land.  Kota Iskandar brings both the State and Federal Government offices together in one area, for better efficiency in the workings of both the State and Federal Government. The development project comprises of 5 phases:

• Phase 1:  of Kota Iskandar comprises the Dewan Negeri Johor, the Menteri Besar and State Secretary Office Complex, two clusters of State Government Department complexes and an open plaza Dataran Mahkota. Phase 1, which is fully funded by the Johor State Government, has been completed. The Federal Government Department Complex is fully operational and was launched by the HRH The Sultan of Johor in 19th April 2009.
• Phase 2A:  involves the development of a mosque next to the Dewan Negeri Johor, with a total capacity of 6,000 “jemaah”. Other facilities include a mini library, counselling room, seminar room, mini clinic and dialysis centre. The earthwork and piling works have been completed and the mosque is scheduled to be completed in 2010.
• Phase 2B:  comprises the development of staff quarters for the Johor State Government in three separate parcels over 136 acres. Currently construction has not started but we expect it to be fully completed by end of 2011.
• Phase 3:  which is still pending approval from the Federal Government, will be the development of the Federal Administrative Centre consisting of four office clusters capable of accommodating 3,000 staff from 33 departments.
• Phase 4:  involves the development of the State Government Department complex on a site fronting the Puteri Harbour lagoon. This phase is expected to commence in 2010 and complete by 2012.
• Phase 5:  known as Laman Jauhar, is a tourism-based project that is expected to commence in 2010 and complete in 2012.

The Kota Iskandar complex now has been officially launched and has being occupied by the Governments officers ever since.
